Meet the Team Behind the Magazine

If you’ve lived in the Treasure Valley for more than five minutes, you already know there’s something special happening here. But if you’re like the three of us, you’ve probably also wondered why someone didn't create a publication built entirely around celebrating the awesome businesses around us and connecting them directly to their customers sooner.

Well, since we couldn't find affordable advertising options for our own ventures back in January, we decided to stop waiting around we decided to create the resource we wished existed.

We are the team behind Made In The Valley—a local print and digital media company born out of a genuine love for where we live, too much caffeine, and a firm belief that this community deserves a personal touch, real community connection, and local stories told by the very people who make this valley special.

Why We Started

We aren't a massive media conglomerate. We’re an LLC made up of three real people who live, work, and build our lives right here in Idaho.

We looked around at the incredible growth of our region, the booming small businesses, the local makers, and the hidden gems tucked away in our neighborhoods, and we realized something was missing. There wasn't a publication that truly captured the heart of the Valley—something tangible you could hold in your hands (like our booklet-sized print issues) and engaging enough to follow online.

So, we took the leap. We’ll be the first to admit we've learned a ton through trial and error along the way, but seeing the community embrace our first few issues has been completely surreal.
