Wild Render Collection started in Megan High’s home kitchen, fueled by faith, curiosity, and plenty of trial and error. What began as a personal passion project to create nourishing skincare for family, snowballed into a thriving business.
“Every product is handcrafted in small batches using tallow that I render myself from grass-fed and finished beef suet.” Megan says, “I love creating products that feel luxurious without being complicated.”
What sets Wild Render Collection apart is the commitment of “No premade bases, no shortcuts, and no mystery ingredients.” Products are formulated with everything from scratch because they believe that “people deserve to know what’s in the products they use every day.” This is because “Customers appreciate the simplicity, and I love helping people discover that sometimes less really is more,” says Megan.
Competing for the “most favored product” are the Glow Whips and the Wild Relief Stick. An honorable mention, though, goes out to the Rooted & Wild Lotion—these three products “are the ones customers come back for again and again.”

What inspired the name of your business?
I wanted a name that captured both what I do and who I am. “Render” comes from the traditional process of rendering tallow, which is the heart of many of my products. “Wild” reflects my love for nature, simple living, and doing things a little differently. Together, Wild Render Collection felt like the perfect fit for a business built on old-fashioned ingredients and a little bit of wild creativity.
How did your business get started?
Wild Render Collection was born from faith, curiosity, and a whole lot of trial and error in my kitchen. I wanted skincare made with simple, nourishing ingredients I could feel good about using and sharing with my family. What started as a passion project quickly turned into friends telling friends, customers becoming regulars, and one small idea growing into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every step of the journey.
What makes your products/service unique or meaningful to you and your customers?

What do you love most about having your business in the Treasure Valley?
The people. Without question. The Treasure Valley is filled with hardworking, kind-hearted people who genuinely support local businesses. Some of my customers have become friends, and some stop by my booth just to say hello. That sense of community is something special.
What is YOUR favorite product/service to make?
My favorites are our Rooted & Wild Lotion and body oils. I love creating products that feel luxurious without being complicated. There’s something so satisfying about watching a formula come together perfectly and then hearing customers say, “I don’t know what you put in this, but my skin loves it.” That’s the best part.
What is your most popular item/service?
Our Glow Whips and Wild Relief Stick are neck and neck for the top spot. The Glow Whips have developed a loyal following for their rich, nourishing feel and simple ingredients, while the Wild Relief Stick has earned a reputation for being the product people don’t realize they need until they try it. Add in our Rooted & Wild Lotion, and those three products are the ones customers come back for again and again.
What is next for your business?
More growth, more learning, and more opportunities to share what I love. You’ll find Wild Render Collection at markets, fairs, and retail locations throughout Idaho as we continue to grow. My goal is simple: keep making products with integrity, keep serving customers well, and keep following where God leads.
